EMI FILTER - BEMF Ch.2 General guideline
[BEMF General Information]
1. How to install | ||
BEMF products are designed and manuf actured for installation in commercial and industrial machinery and equipment. They are used in the following equipments and facilities:
2. Before Installation
1) Before installation and use of the product, be sure
to check the contents of the catalog and instruction
manual. 2) In order to avoid the risk of overloading, please select BEMF products with capacity of about 110% or more of the equipment or facility power to use, or operate the equipment within about 80% of BEMF rated capacity. 3) Make sure that the input power is cut off, and install this product after avoiding the environment where there is a lot of water, moisture, dust and corrosive gas. 4) When connecting the power supply and the product, if the terminal is damaged due to excessive torque, or if it is loosely coupled, there may be a fire due to overload. 5) Do not modify, disassemble, or disassemble the product arbitrarily to maintain saf ety and performance of the product and system. |
||
3. Refernce | ||
When using equipment, the noise that af fects is generated in various forms such as switching noise, surge, harmonics, electromagnetic pulse and electromagnetic field. It is not effective for all types of noise with one EMI filter. In each case, you must use suitable protective measures.
EMI FILTER - BEMF Ch.3 General guideline
[Installation of EMI Filter]
1. How to install | ||
1) The ground wire should be short and thick wire. 2) Separate the input and output wires of the EMI filter. (W1, W2) 3) Be sure to disconnect the low voltage / DC communication line and the power line. (W3, W4) 4) Install near power input. 5) If the case is grounded, remove the paint or foreign matter from the installation part and fix it tightly. 6) Do not applye xcessive torque when connecting EMI filter terminal (Torque Table) 7) Use a sock et wrench or spanner that meets specifications when fastening bolts. |
||
2. Installation Precautions
1) Do not use general LC filter at the end of inverter or
servo driver. There may be abnormal heat due to
harmonics and system malfunction. 2) Connect the input and output of the three-phase EMI filter so that they do not change each other (L1 - L1' / L2 - L2' / L3 - L3') |
